a turn in the road in this series---brilliant. The rising wall (with a curved edge going upwards in brick) is a great division of the image. The colored leaves are like snakes meandering across the wall. You got the open brick in the wall as vividly as the deep yellow; and the tree on top is a burst of background, like a sun---only in greens. Then a snippet of wall beneath it...and a red covered wall, far right...accents, accents...all ending in that blue planter box: Whoosh. You couldn't have grounded your image with a better, more striking 'end': That luminous blue is terrific against all these warm reds, yellows, etc. Masterful. One of my favorites of the series, and that's saying a lot.

The creeper makes a great pattern on the wall and the colours are perfect together!

I love how those red-leafed vines trace their way up and around the curves of the wall and outline the place where the bricks are showing through. Amazingly beautiful! Fantastic shot!
