Hi, I'm Andrea, and I'm interested in creatures and plants both wild and tamed, and people of all sorts. I only use a compact digital camera ,as I love being able to get it into a back pocket, and not have to cart heavy kit about. I carry a Panasonic Lumix TZ series, binoculars and a hand lens almost everywhere. Most of my outings are with the dogs so I only use point and shoot.
I am getting the hang of Photoshop, thanks to some very kind folk on RR!
I have a wildlife garden in Bournemouth, Dorset, in the UK, and spend a lot of time there . I retired from teaching art to teenagers a while ago.
I'm now getting some good results with my digi compacts; it took me a while to make the switch from my old film camera, an 1960 ish Pentax Spotmatic, but the mistakes are much cheaper!
I have 4 lodgers, 3 dogs and a parrot who, as at 2017, I have had 40 years.
I has so far had 19 dogs, mostly rescues.

Nothing like a bit of a lean to the side sometimes; glad it's being strengthened for you! We've got cold below freezing here for about a week now!

yeah, when heavy objects start moving on their own, it's a sign you gotta do something tout suite. Been there, done that. (And sometimes not done that. I'll post a story one day. The crash registered an 8.2 on the Richter Scale...) (Do you know how humiliating it is when your own furniture snarls, "we told you so!!!") Zoom shows your delightful postwork. Actually it's pretty broad in this image, big broad areas, big areas of flat hue between 'coastlines', etc. And it gives this place a feel of being, well, big and broad. Your green ribbon/tape (below the table) and that orange pot (I assume that's a pot) are terrific accents against all that shadow. And the stark white on top is a fine accent too. Yeah this looks like the kind of place that could cause tremors in your neighborhood, if not tended to. You captured the real hodge podge of such workshops, and you brought out its real accents. Very jazzy visuals, and, like all such shots from you, exciting and a lot of fun. Hope it's done soon, so you can relax again!

A right-leaning support (in its own mind, its a left leaner) Great capture and postwork glad that the issue is being centered and supported

Where are the hazard flags? You'll probably get fined or something.
