Description

I've started making a digital scrapbook of sketches, doodles, etc. These are shrubs. (Some of these are in my gallery...) Better detail, full zoom. ---------------------------------------------------------

It is a super idea, Mark.... as long as you share it with us, >:-) How lovely this is. And you know I LUV the vases and the blue one reminds of something similar, I did a few years ago. The long leaves are so beautiful and very naturel. Your grass sketcher are so graceful in the wind. Love them too :-))) Thank you for sharing your art with us, dear Mark :)

Beautiful little sketches, Mark - a kind of visual Haiku, conveying a lot of feeling in just a few strokes. Or, perhaps, like those little drawings in the New Yorker, visual gems that are sprinkled around the magazine randomly. And I hate to correct you again, but did you mean to call this "Shubbery"?

Well, if the Knights who say Neep ever show up at your door you'll be ready for them (they demanded a shrub from King Arthur). You are quite good with these. I especially like the four at the bottom. They have a certain Asian quality to them.

this are super awesome, really wonderful little sketches. I like them all but the 4 at the bottom make a stunning set.

I love the vibrant and volatile style. It's like a fresh wind is blowing over them, this can be seen in each of these sketches. And some you have given a special grain background, that I find really very successful. A great idea, although I don't know how to make them, is that with a computer program, Mark?

This has a bit of a Japanese art style feeling, you are very versatile.

The framed images here should be hanging on walls, individually. You have talent, which I lack.
