Description

These two shots are taken October 28th with two different cameras in the very old forest gravyard for people from the mental Hospital near the forest.. The first one was taken with my older Galaxy camera (not my smartphone) the second one was taken with my Tizzy Panasonic only a few meters from eachother. Wanted to see which you think is the best (or worst) :) Have a beautiful day. Weather here is dull, grey, but very quiet. We have had light inside all day. Thank you for viewing and commenting :-)

I think the top one may be the Tizzy, it seems sharper to me. But my eyes are so dodgy that I may be wrong! Both are beautiful.

I think the top one is the better of the two. The lighting contrast and definition of the more distant trees is sharper.

holy cow, flora-crassella is back...and Dave is back! Whoa, red-letter day! Wonderful to see them here again...Helle I don't think I can pick a favorite, because I like them both for different reasons. Nor can I tell which is with which camera. The top one has that dissolving light coming through, and it's about the light's effect on everything, how the trees on either side are bright, and how the shadow on the ground is dramatically darker. Your detail and sense of "opening up" as we move up the image is very fine. The bottom image has more evenly-distributed light, so the shadows are gentler. And the foreground is a series of boulders, which frame the picture nicely (and differently from the little walkway or parking area, at the bottom of the first shot). I like the light in 2 just as much, it's a gentler and more even light, and the hues are beautiful. So 2's more gentle to my eye, 1's more dramatic. They both have your touch with nature, in any case, and both are restful and beautiful. I've never seen you take a "worst" picture of your beautiful surroundings. You grace your surroundings each time you capture them for us...

Basically what Mark said about this luverly diptych, Helle. I like the top photo the best because of the lighting contrasts and closeness of the subject matter.

They are both excellent images, Helle, and I'm going to be the odd one out and say the second image has better quality of light and color and slightly less contrast makes the image more pleasing. Both beautiful, just what my old eyes see and enjoy. :)
