Hello !
My name is Helle. I live in Denmark on the Island, Zealand. I have a husband and two sons and three grandchildren, so I am a happy person.
I like many kinds of art and I try to limit myself, but I dont succeed very well. I love my PSP9 and I think I use it every day. I like to draw, paint and experiment on canvas or paper and I wish I had time do it every day. My biggest wish is, that there would be 48 hours instead of the poor 24 a day. I just dont think it will ever happen ;)
A fantastic new world opened for me, when I was Introduced to Renderosity for the first time. I am very grateful to be a part if this site.

Glad to get the e-bots back for galleries! This is lovely. I'm glad it wasn't a "specimen" pinned to a board. Under the circumstances I think you got a lovely shot.

wow, great detail and hues on this, Helle, and the mosquito netting makes a great backdrop. Your intense light on the top is wonderful...the furry texture of the moth is even more intense in that lighting. And I love that you just gave us the moth and the lighting. You know, it's been a while since you posted lots of insect shots (and spiders too): You used to post them all the time, and they were revelations. This is marvelous. It almost looks like it was made of fabric. Fine work with light and background, and the highlights on its wings are terrific...
(I had to look up "tulle": It's the same in English as it is in Danish. It's named after the town in France where the fabric was made.) (Aren't you glad I told you that piece of information? Are you dying to just run out and tell all your neighbors?)

Yes, I never found anything like that in my bedroom! Gorgeous colors, lighting, textures and markings in this capture of the winged insect, Helle. I didn't know you used mosquito netting in Denmark. We used mosquito netting around our cots when I was in the Army in the Philippines. A sunny and dry 26.7-Celsius here this weekend.

Well, Harry. This one is homemade, because I get the warm sun right on my room in the warm summer afternoon, so the room is sometimes very warm in the evenings. So you see, I must pay for my great view. Cant take the warmth, so Per made me a mosquitonet, so I can have one of my windows open. :)

A pretty peacock! I sometimes find them hibernating in the greenhouse or even in my bedroom curtains, which I only rarely close.
