Description
A reminder of June days on this very blustery December one!
I rarely go far from my home nowadays, so this is not, strictly speaking, 'country', but the view across the river Stour toward Parley.
We are very lucky in Bournemouth to be able to access within 10 or so minutes so very many areas of outstanding natural beauty
Denise will remember this place, although her visit was in an October.

What a wonderful way to start my day. It has been raining here for 7 days. This bright and peaceful picture is just what I needed. Would love to just sit there and wait to see what wildlife appeared.

zoomed, this is a grand and gentle landscape, showing off the beauty of where you live (and what you described, above) perfectly. Your area is famous even in the States. Your composition breaks this beautiful landscape into a foreground of intense plantlife and water, a midground of deep meadow with almost yellow grasses (and 2 horses), and a background of those beautiful trees in background. (With, of course, the sky.) Peaceful, expansive and beautiful, it doesn't get more idyllic than this. A pastorale not far from your home...Beautiful.
