Description
Hi,
This shot taken once more at Shuttleworth, shows an extremely rare original Britol Fighter lifting off from the field..
Its in 208 Sgn markings as worn during WW1.
Most aircraft at the collection here are original and often the last of the breed.. Others replica's.., Though those are often 50 years old!
I'll post more from here including the De Havilliand Comet..

A real ar-plane! Give you a fiver for the lack of modern detritus in the image. This could be out of the past for real.

They don't make planes like this anymore
You fly them by the seat of you're pants

A straight out of 197-18 shot! The Brisfit was a superior two seater capable of the fighter role. The RAF kept them in service for years after the Great War.

I am pleased to see this survivor that I can compare with the model I built of a DE Havilland DH-4.
