Description
Hi,
Shuttleworth, this is a view from behind the Bristol F2 Fighter you saw taking off..
The event was Shuttleworth Uncovered, where access was unrestricted as you can see..
These are the twin Lewis guns at the rear, there was a fixed Vickers firing through the Propeller as well..

The 'flying through the prop' part always amazes me!!!!!!!!

Not a comforting sight for the other guy.... It would certainly discourage tailgating!
Very cool shot, Rob!

Yeah! Twin Lewis's on that bungee elevation snubbed horseshoe mount! But of course that doesn't mean the DH-4 had the same mount. SQUINTING

seems like a one person craft, so how does the pilot shoot the guns behind him and still fly the plane?obviously needing to avoid his vertical stabilizer

Super capture Rob. Unrestrictited access gives one a chance to take photos of hardware that is normally not possible. Great job. Happy New Year!
