CD-Rs. It took me ages to find the make I like best, I was surprised to find that from the side the camera sees the pillar in the middle! There is a different version Here

I guess a stack of CD-R's (or DVD-R's) are a photograph waiting to be taken. Yeah, I've noticed, at home, how translucent they are, and how the stacking pole shines through. But you also got that eerie late-night hue inside the discs; and man, you went to town with the light on top!!! I love it---neon city, or else a space ship landing on top. Great light, great yellows. And your postwork accentuates the "energy lines" of the discs, but leaves the discs intact. I love this, it has great presence, and I expect the pile to emit a low "hummmmmm" at night, and--one day---take off. Don't be surprised! Love the shot. You came to terms with discs!

Thats one interesting shot I keep a few for give away pics and music but usb sticks are so cheap now and some newer computers don't even have CD players now.
