you create such fine gradations of hue, with finesse and subtlety. This otherwise bleak landscape is gorgeous for the subtle gradations of grays, and blues, and greens, and slate hues, and dapples of ash hues, etc. And your detail is wonderfully subtle---the geological lines of your image flow in waves, yet they're clearly desolate stone. And the sky is filled by an egg like orb, which emits some sense of promise; while the light around the orb is a definite green-blue. Mysterious and beautiful, Mandi. You turn these bleak landscapes into places of desolate beauty, inviting our eyes to look deeply...very finely done. Real finesse...
