boy, it really does defy the camera, doesn't it! It's like it'll let you see its color, but nothing else. You got the strange crystalline protrusions on the edges, but the mass of it is taken-over by white! What a sight. In this closeup, we really see the viscous, clumpy appearance of that white. And we can see its tentacles on the bottom---it sends out feelers. Another striking shot of this bizarre fluffy thing. I'm very happy you posted these, they're a unique treat...
