Description
Just an abstract I made, with a theme of "light shining in the dark". About light in the dark season, for all of us in the Northern Hemisphere.
I just want to wish you great llght for the season.
I finally caught up with comments---a big job, as I hadn't commented in a few days. (With my slow pace, that wasn't a small task, believe me!)
I will be very busy the next few days...I'll try to get to your images; but if I fall behind, I apologize in advance.
Have a wonderful holiday, everyone, and thank you so much for the support and love you've shown me here. Please know it is all grand.
Peace to you all,
Mark

A psychedelic Christmas tree and just in time for the Winter Solstice! Love the colors and the effects from the layering. Since Jesus was born in either the spring or the fall, depending what source you read, I'll just wish you a Merry Saturnalia and a very Happy New Year. I hope you have a great time.

You greeted the shortest day of the year with this stunning deep space rendition of asteroids heading for earth, with a star shining brightly, possibly our sun, shown in the background. Let's hope that the asteroids miss us. Another fine piece to encourage our sense of awe. And, Happy Hanukkah!

A very beautiful abstract with lovely colors and great lighting. Your shortest day means it is our longest can't believe we now start counting down to winter. I will send you some of our lovely hot sunshine to brighten your day and keep the chill out.

And a very Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones Mark, oder ' Froehliche Weihnachten ' from the former German and now Ozzie dwellers ... I just had to google the name for it in your language: 'Hanukkah' or Chanukah is the Jewish Festival of Lights. It dates back to two centuries before the beginning of Christianity. (say what ?, ah well, there you go, I just learned something I never knew) What a perfectly designed greeting card, in time for all our festivities, love & peace to you...
Cheers BB

I love the traceries of branches emerging through the darkness into the light, and the way the light shades in colours as if viewed by Christmas light...such an incredibly lovely image you have given us! Blessings to you this holiday season in all that you do.

What a beautiful image for the holidays! I love the way you've used the light as a guide, a beacon, a path. The surrounding "reflections" of that light are just beautiful. Thank you for the holiday wishes, and for sharing your art with us!

It is a beautiful image and perfect for Christmas. There is so much depth and life in the scene. Amazing that you can do all that in a fractal. I've been looking at fractals on Deviantart lately, it is crazy some of the things you can make.

A beautiful image, Mark, and perfect for the Christmas season. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas, and a fantastic 2016!
Falling behind...... Sheesh, I'm right there with you, brother. Seems to be what I'm best at lately... I need a day with 48 hours - but they'd probably make me work 40 of 'em..

OH Dear, I almost missed this beautiful post with the wonderful blue colors and the pine as a ghost in the dark and the lovely orb, which is reflection in the beautiful scenery. Love it. it looks so peaceful and I am sure it was your intentions all the way. Love it !!

A very beautiful holiday image, Mark. It reminds me of a Christmas tree in space, as I see many inner- connecting branches and pine needles, with the glow of Chakra lights, and a big glow on the bottom, as if it is coming from the energy of the earth, reaching up and filling the universe. Hope your holiday has been filled with the joyful spirit of the season.
