Description

We were supposed to get some snow last night, but it turned out to be pretty paltry. The rooftops & hills around us have a sprinkling of white, but our lawns are still green. I took this shot about a block from our house roughly two weeks ago after a more substantial snowfall... Merry Christmas to all!

(from 2 weeks before? Lol, the Christmas gods are gonna come by and shout, "fake! fake!") A beautiful shot, and your high key whites---white-out whites---are perfect as foil to those saturated greens and blues, and to the dissolving hues on the edges of the branches. (Branch haloes.) With pockets of water peeking through as beautiful accents. A beautiful shot, using whites very expressively throughout.
