Description

Well, it appears Santa Claus has given the reindeer a night off, and gone high-tech with his deliveries… Eat your heart out, Amazon! Things have been so busy lately I haven't had time to do a "proper" Christmas render. I have two computers busy rendering poser images for this special little project I've been speaking about. So in lieu of a poser render, I created this little bit of silliness in Photoshop out of bits and pieces of photos and various clipart I've had moldering away on my hard drives for years. The image of the moon is courtesy of NASA, Santa's sleigh is a bit of clipart I picked up somewhere some time ago. I don't really use a lot of clipart, so I'm not even really sure where I got it. I hand-painted Santa Claus in Photoshop – and after mucking around with his hand for 20 minutes, I figured that's the best it was gonna get for tonight LOL! Santa's substitute 'reindeer' were created from a photo of my DJI Inspire 1. I just wanted to take a few moments to say how much I appreciate each and every one of you. Not only for your comments and support and mostly for your friendship throughout the years, but also for the inspiration you all give me every single day. I have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. That is the longest period of time I have ever been a member of any website or online community. Over the past six years I have seen my artwork grow considerably from the feeble attempts of past years – and the biggest single reason is the inspiration and support I have received from you, my friends. And it's the biggest reason that – no matter what kind of half-baked, so-called "revolutions" Renderosity unleashes in the coming years, as long as you're all here I will be too! May this Christmas season, and the new year bring you everything good. The Girls From T.N.A. will be returning very soon – the adventure continues…

Merry Christmas to you and thank you for the words you posted. But I have a question ... The reindeer of Santa Claus can fly or to be condiderate as drones then no ..................... !!!!!!! !

I'm trying to empower me by the Italian governing airspace and is difficult even if it is right.

Same to you, Big Bro--- just want to wish you a blessed and joyous holiday season. Your composition reminds me of those classic Christmas cards, and your words are quite genuine, a heart-warming greeting. Big hugs!

Santa and his dronedeer flew below a full moon here last night, dropping wet presents for everyone... about three inches of rain into record high temps of 77'

😂

A red mud carpet should eliminate noise and dust, plus stop any construction attempts across our road until after the 1st.... have a relaxing Christmas and carry that positive attitude proudly into a great New Year - 2016

I love the card! It's got your touches of art, whimsy, and downright humor. :P Outstanding! (Dude ... you could have done a white mitten in a lot less time than 20 minutes! LOL!)

They almost lost me with this latest "Revolution," but hey ... it's home, and so far I haven't found someplace else I'd rather be. Glad you're still here too, my friend. You add a bright light to this place that isn't replaceable. Much love to you and Jo and the girls! :*

LOL! Duh..... A mitten..... :-D That slapping noise you keep hearing is me slapping my forehead repeatedly.... Sheesh - talk about not seeing the forest for the trees....

I'm keeping that in mind for next Christmas! LOL

An outstanding Christmas card and the drones would certainly cut down on Santa's work load and would be quicker too so that he would get home to that Christmas pudding sooner. Very beautifully created with great details. I hope you are able to get some quiet time too over 'the season'. 😄

you certainly add tons to the spirit you love here, and which brings us all back over and over, despite revolutions, life taking over, and everything else. As I've said before, I'm very grateful for all the great energy you give here, and for your wonderful art---of many types!---and your always engaged and wonderful comments.

I love the image, and as tara said, you could've just done a 'glove' for santa, lol. I understand spending time on details, and this is a delight; and why not drones! It's not the 8th C. Besides, seeing them with antlers is a hoot! Wonderful image, and I hope your holiday was sweet, and will continue to be (despite fatigue and being sick, and all the other crap you've had to deal with). Merry Christmas and a happy holiday to you and Jo, and all the creations emanating from your world!

This is the coolest of ideas Rod. Maybe the gov should adopt the practice instead of using it to spy and kill people. Cheers bud and all the best to you and your loved ones.
