*Amor Perfeito* (love-in-idleness)
This flower is a European wild flower and is part of many legends!
Closes as a clover, in a intimate way .... and it opens in the morning, showing its three colors - strong colors - and is traditionally related to the flower of the Trinity ...
Some relates her with the story of Noah's Ark: a white dove holding an olive branch, indicating the path of hope and freedom ... thus the 'Amor Perfeito' is also a symbolic message of a love that never ends: an infinite love message!
There is also the belief that the 'Amor Perfeito', would have delighted powers :) and in Greece and China, was and still is used as medicine. The Celts and Romans also used this flower , to make perfums :)
In England, some say that the 'Amor Perfeito'(love-in-idleness) inspired 'Dreams of a Summer Night "by Shakespeare ... and in Greek mythology, for example, is dedicated to Athena (Minerva), goddess of war, wisdom and arts! Also it is associated with reflection and deep thought...In fact, the 'Amor Perfeito' is a symbolic message that never ends !!
... and its round, flat shape, makes it look like a human face ... and i see Helle!:)

a beautiful gift on every level, Ana. Your history and mythology of the "Amor Perfeito" is wonderful and rich. And perfect for Helle (who's also wonderful and rich). And your words to Helle are exactly what she's like--you captured her perfectly. Thank you so much for this huge and loving gift, I know it must have taken you lots of time and thought, and it's wonderful that you did all this for Helle, who deserves it all. The photo is luminous---it's like a big sun bursting into our faces, a "charming face, and so happy" (Tara). The deep purple petals behind it makes the front petals stand-out beautifully. A big bursting photo. (And you even used a purple border to harmonize with all the purples in the photo.) A beautiful photo and wonderful text for helle, and everything you said was true. OHH, dearest Ana. You know how much I love this "stepmother flower" as we use to call it here :) I have always loved them and they are the first flowers I grow in my window boxes.
