Description
A fungus growing on a log, taken during our walk in Corbett last weekend. My wife thinks the sliminess makes it looks repulsive, but I find it visually appealing. Vive la difference...

fine direct shot of a primal presence; and the division of the shot into lower right and upper left is perfect. (Log/right, background/left.) The light on its slimy surface is striking. It almost looks like a piece of raw fish.
