You might spot me at Kirra Beach, the South-Eastern end of the Gold Coast, Australia,  if you like beach walking like myself... but there is more ! My son Jeff (*jif3d*, here at Rendo, it helps to advertise, ooops)... he took this pic of me in 2000, then manipulated it in photo-shop and it's still one of my favourites. Just very briefly about my past... *born in East Prussia; *grew up in Berlin, West Germany; *migrated to "OZ" in 1960, (not the Wizard of Oz) but...AUSTRALIA ! I guess  I was more into '2D' since early childhood, and thinking that my son Jeff may have inherited some of my artistic skills, because he translated them into '3D'. I am hooked on photography, since I discovered cameras... that's it in a nutshell. BTW - one of my fav.quotes.... ** I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure - which is trying to please everybody !**                                              that's a wrap... Cheers Brigitte.

just right! I love this! Thistle as fireworks, and yes, no gunpowder (or loud bangs either). And a Brigitte photo if ever there was one. I love the crop, and the shimmer, and the 'blast', and the composition with the main cluster off-center and smaller ones on the right. And the frame. And the dab of purple in the corner...A brigitte piece, part photo, part fantasy, and shimmering.
Re the different time zones, you already know how I feel about them: They're a hoax shoved at us by some people hiding in Antarctica. And I love your quote about alcohol, water and milk. (I might have Slivovitz this weekend---a brandy from hell, designed to take the chrome off a car, lol.) I wish you and Jeff and all those you love, both in Oz and in the rest of the world, a wonderful, creative and dancing 2016. And thank you for all the joy and dance you've brought to us all---including me!---in 2015. You're a gift. Happy New Year, Brigitte!!!

A beautiful capture and what a novel way to see in the new year, counting down with these little seeds. I'm afraid we didn't even bother to see it in here until this morning, must be old age settling in. It seems that most places were well behaved thank goodness, so no mayhem. I hope that you and Jeff have a very happy and creative new year, cheers,

Hi my dearest Gitti, this is beyond every other fireworks, also by it's glow, framing and happiness, what comes to us to really refreshed our look into the future to the new year. It radiates, liveliness, joy, enthusiasm, and it's uplifting to us. It looks exactly as if we will rise to a higher level in the new year. Although a trip to you and your beautiful country, that would be the biggest surprise, and highlight for me. So I can finally embrace you, to broadened our horizons together.
Yesterday evening I did an upload for 2016 as well, and I today discovered, that my big sister (that's you ;-)) had somewhat the same idea for show a firework to our RR friends. So underneath my upload I wrote this:
P.S.: I'm so sorry, that it was just today that I saw "blondeblurr" (Brigitte) her upload; and right now came out, that we had a somewhat the same idea as choice for our wishes to you all. Brigitte, will you forgive me? I was such long not around here in the galleries, my dear. But the fact that we call each other "sisters", it's be explained, and confirms our strong friendship, right?
