My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Full view is a must! there is so much going on - but the best part is seeing the person playing the violin and conjuring up scenes from the past, present & future with tech vying for space with magic
Excellent

HOLY FRAK!!
Tara! This is absolutely magnificent! This really looks like a beautiful tapestry one would see hanging in the banquet hall of a great castle. This just blows my mind! Fantastic work - I think 2016 is going to be a very good year!

In Xanadu did Kubla Khan A stately pleasure-dome decree : Where Alph, the sacred river, ran Through caverns measureless to man Down to a sunless sea. ~ Samuel Taylor Coleridge
I believe some of this is from Mark's image of Chicago but your treatment gives this a decided Oriental feeling. Mystical and magical, the placement of the elements is superb and the layering and colors are exceptional. All in all, a brilliant work of art.

with all the accolades, the bad comic in me so wants to say, "this sucks!" But I'll behave myself and say it's gorgeous. Mark said something about my image being in here: But you pointed out this is all your images, and I don't see any of mine in it, and that's fine because you did a piece of dream art all your own---with that violinist from Chicago, right? Isnt' that the guy from under the tunnel near my home? You even put some clefts in there and a few notes. You use the lines of the facades beautifully, as accents; they're almost a motherboard of segments. And while there's a 'ground' here, sort of, the image just whooshes down in a waterfall of dark lights and lines, into an abyss beneath the frame. Your deep greens are beautiful, the trees are used the way the great Japanese print makers used bare branches, and your sky is a beautiful pale pink-blue-green wash. With that flat sun or moon, with I believe a reflection in the lower image. Beautiful. Please keep this up, they're just great. (And they're inspiring me to do more straight photo-manipulations---I don't mean abstracts with a 'photo', I mean photo manipulations. Maybe I should use one of your images...it's just, with what you're doing, I don't want to mess with your work right now...leave it be all to itself...)

This is cool. I like the effects, kind of the grunge feel, and I like that, I use it all the time. Well done.
