My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

WOW, Tara, this looks like real jewellery. Such an impressing photography, it looks like the first flower is giving itself away (to us) ;-)

Terrific light, color and composition. Absolutely perfect blooms. Looking at the flower on the right I was reminded of baby birds with their mouths open waiting to be fed. Or maybe its because its almost time for lunch and I'm hungry.

A lovely capture. I love the compactness of the pom pom dahlias and their amazing detail.

Amazingly intimate, in that shadowy light; this is stunning!

your treatment has such clarity and depth of hue that these look almost hand made, with the kind of attention to texture and light that an artist would give them. The front flower is near perfect; and the unopened bloom (on the left) has the feel of beautifully burnished silk. They all stand out beautifully against your darkened deep green background, almost blue green. A photo of wonderful clarity and delicacy. Gorgeous flower shot; and that unopened bloom is very special; it's as beautiful in its own right as the opened blooms.
