Nice shot - I like the way it leads the eye to that iconic neon flying horse that has been Mobil's symbol since I was a young boy. Do they still use it? I don't know, since we don't have any Mobil gas stations where I live...

I know Dallas has a huge horse like this---Pegasus, I assume (from the Greeks)---on its skyline. I remember something about it from a friend who came from Dallas. And I know Mobil, or its predecessor, got its start in that area; so the Mobil logo is probably very familiar to Dallas residents. I'd heard of this museum, but had to look it up because I knew little about it. Quite a building! (An old courthouse---what a structure.) And this must be in the entrance, or in the back of the entrance. To your shot: You caught it perfectly, with those red tinged arches, everything tinged by the pegasus horse incl the floor. You got the hues beautifully. And the power of the approach. A beautiful image of what I assume is an iconic sight to those museum goers. It's what show biz would call "a big entrance"! Beautifully captured, you caught its presence beautifully, Richard.

Wooooow...... This just rocks! What a great shot, Richard!

I can't even remember when I last saw a Mobil station. So many things have passed into history.... Thanks for this wonderful bit of Americana...
