There were several of these giant inflated rabbits set up in a square in Bratislava as a temporary art installation...

Strange and wonderful, to see these giant soft toys; what a surreal sight that must have been! Super shot! I could envision a whole art series of these placed into different fantasy/scifi settings.

As one who sews, I can see how this is made and why the panels are the shape they are and such, but the idea of making a 3D sculpture like this boggles my mind. I don't think spatially like this well enough to ... oh ... I just figured out how I would do it, right in the middle of the sentence. LOL! It isn't on my list of things to do, though! :P

now if tara went out and made one of these, as a result of seeing this, that would be something. As a sight, it's a delight. And I'm all for these in cities, and the whole concept of them. Claes Oldenburg made pieces like this, only of plastic more than fabric...As a shot, you got it at the divide between two buildings, and of different hues; and I love the "bagel and coffee" to our right. A wild juxtaposition. Even the ears frame a window above them. Well composed, with real presence in the beast. Another delight.
