Description
One of my first shots---a 2 MP camera! Sunrise, Lake Michigan...
I'm catching up today, and hope to get you all by tuesday. And I'm going by gallery this time, as it allows me to really get into your work (rather than skip around). I'll get to you all by Wednesday.
After that, I'm gonna have to step down, as I need to work, get therapies for my arm, and write. (I'm going back to my writing.) So I'll be here less regularly for a while. I don't like that, but I don't know another way when time presses...
But I'll come back to comment. I'll have to comment on 'selected' images, because of time. So know that if I don't comment on everything, it's only because of that. (I see everything regardless, that I can promise...)
Finally, thanks for your wonderful support this fall: I've not been here this intensely since I joined in 2008, and it's just been grand. Thank you so much for everything people!
Lots of hugs and inspiration,
Mark

First I must say this is a stunning "old" sunset. You started out amazingly well. I would never have judged this as a beginner's shot.
Second I would like to thank you for your recent thoughtful comments on some of my posts. You must be the best commentator on RR. And last I would like to say please do not stress about comments for me. I am the worst for missing time and getting behind on comments. I must admit to just using the "like" button when I get too far behind or, as Claude can attest to, choosing one of the 20 or so photos I have looked at and leaving a generic comment about how much I like the entire series. So I never worry about it if someone does not leave a comment. If you have time and want to that is great otherwise it is fine just to look without comment. I think most everyone else feels the same. We do this for fun and relaxation and to share the beauty we see or create with each other. But, none of us wants it to cause stress for others in any way. I have often wondered if I should just make it so people cannot leave comments so that no one feels obligated, but then people that want to make a comment do not get the option so I leave it. Anyway now I have blathered on when the point is simply that I love your thoughtful comments, but I do not expect them and I would rather know that you are just enjoying and not stressing. :)
