zoom's a must: Stunning clarity on the fronds, and the ground radiates greens and iron reds. An almost fairy tale intensity...a striking nature shot, and a wonderful change-up after so much (striking) urbanity. And your sky reaches a royal blue on top, very fitting for the name of the tree. From your gallery, Cuba has become not only alive for me---at last---but a place of immense richness and almost mystical presence. This is out of a folk tale setting. A painting of someone's vision of paradise...

Such an elegant tree! If I get too close to a palm i get ripped skin, so they are for admiring at a distance as in this terrific shot.

It's beautiful! We have palms here in south Texas of course, but they seem to be different from this type. (I can tell you loads about evergreens, but very little about palms.) The shape is beautiful, and it has such presence!
