it's hard not to ogle at the beauty of the art itself, but your captures made art of the art, and that's what makes these special. I can't tell how large this is---it looks miniature (from the simplicity of detail in the hair, for instance)---but it has a glow and milky translucence; and the shadows are deep and sensual (with ample blues to contrast those ambers and yellows). And the dark inside the frame is rich and deep; and the frame glows beautifully. And finally, the blue wall texture--brought out very clearly--makes fine contrast to these golds and oranges and yellows. A beautiful capture; you brought out the original art consummately.
Claude, I'll have to stop for now, because I'm only back for one visit (spread over two sessions), and I want to get to some other galleries. But I did 9 of yours, and loved them all. I saw them as they went up, btw, and was anxious to leave comments for them. Your neon shots made amazing contrast to these---a total turnaround; though also very rich and vivid...
