This seemed like an appropriate companion piece to my previous post, "Angel". A little grainier than I would have liked, but it was the best I could do under the circumstances...

well I guess the verdict is in, your viewers like this dude more than the angel! Lol---not sure I'd want this dude in my home: Looks like he'd be a weeeeeee difficult to please. But it's a splendid capture; and you practiced the old adage, "if ya can't beat 'm, join 'm"---ie, in your handling of the grain. You accentuated it and made it glow. I love what it does to the top of the image, and to some other parts as well. In fact, that makes fine contrast with the milky quality of the marble (or ivory). Another beautiful capture in this series.
