I started around 12/2002 when my brother give me microsoft 2001!picture it that is where i learn. I like to help others in art showing them there a better way of doing things. Not just past a image thougth a filter and post it.But take the image a add to it// cut// bend the colors and make real art.Use layes and lays of images. each showing what is under it. blowing your mind as you make it hopeing others will look at it and say that far out man BIOborn on Sept 23, 1951 in lake charles,la. just haveing fun dont like doing the same things over and over. It like eating you eat diff things all the time.

It is particularly enjoyable to view this in light of the photo reference you were so gracious as to put up for comparison. It gives us the opportunity to view how the 'real world' of the photo is filtered through into your mind and then out again through the medium. I do enjoy the boldness by which you put paint on the canvas. Thank you for sharing.

Another bursting masterful painting from you. In the photo, the bench and the whole 'front area' is in shadow...but in your painting, you gave it so many highlights, you brought each slat in the bench to life; you brought that drum to life, you gave light to the prongs of the crutches, and to the drummer's shirt and pants---everything has come alive! And you brought out the vivid purple of the trombonist's shirt, and turned his trombone gold! (It was silvery, in the photo!) Even the sidewalk, where they stand, has come to life. And the background has all your luminous hues, and all your vitality. (And, did you change the sign across the street to "Jock"? Lol---nice touch! I guess you bought that store since you took the photo!) Even the pillar by the trombonist has turned a deep yellow (from a pale gray). You "electrified" the photo---a fine photo to begin with---and made this a wholly electric, alive painting. Musicians owe you a debt of gratitude for how well you capture their spirit!
And thanks for the link to "second line": I'd heard of New Orleans' famous "second line". I kind of thought these two weren't about to play in a club: If they were, the drummer would have a whole set, not just a snare drum.
