Hi, I'm Andrea, and I'm interested in creatures and plants both wild and tamed, and people of all sorts. I only use a compact digital camera ,as I love being able to get it into a back pocket, and not have to cart heavy kit about. I carry a Panasonic Lumix TZ series, binoculars and a hand lens almost everywhere. Most of my outings are with the dogs so I only use point and shoot.
I am getting the hang of Photoshop, thanks to some very kind folk on RR!
I have a wildlife garden in Bournemouth, Dorset, in the UK, and spend a lot of time there . I retired from teaching art to teenagers a while ago.
I'm now getting some good results with my digi compacts; it took me a while to make the switch from my old film camera, an 1960 ish Pentax Spotmatic, but the mistakes are much cheaper!
I have 4 lodgers, 3 dogs and a parrot who, as at 2017, I have had 40 years.
I has so far had 19 dogs, mostly rescues.

I like your version, Andrea
Excellent work

And I thought these were multi-colored cucumbers. I happen to really like jelly beans, though I don't eat them very often because of the sugar content. But I eat the organic ones with no artificial colors or additives...

Very nice postwork Andrea. Well done.

Lovely colours but don't like jelly beans, never have.

I would have never figured Claude for a jelly bean fan! But I eat sugary things too, on occasion...Hope everyone zooms this: It's a huge cornucopia of colored pickles, decorative balls, seasick moles and god knows what else. Amazing postwork! Love the hues. I'd have never guessed "jelly beans," from what you did to these: They look like squat cucumbers who painted themselves for a Halloween party. And if you wanted people to stay away from jelly beans, you turned them into anything BUT jelly beans---they're too much like weird jewels to eat, now. And I love your flickr version too: It's got less isobars (hope Denise didn't see that lol) and more dots and grain. Terrific. A carnival of toxicity! Terrific job on these.

Bien meilleurs les cerises, les fraises et j'en passe et des meilleurs, n'est-ce pas ! Although best cherries, strawberries and so on and the best, is not it !

Nothing except sugar and dyes, certainly not healthy, and the dentist is happy about it. Great shot, fantastic postwork!

Funny, I thought these were bacterium under a microscope. I ate these when I was young risking falling into a sugar coma but I outgrew them and most sweets. But talk to me about chocolate...

Excellent work! :-)

Yikes! I've eaten my share, and enjoyed them too, but I can't swear they didn't poison me...not part of my diet these days, I'm eating much healthier and a lot less of everything. Great postwork on this, it really makes them appear dangerous!

They look nice, but I wouldn't eat them either.
