One of several pictures I did of a Mutants & Masterminds RPG character. Dara Sommers is the second woman to use the Dragonfly Battlesuit; the first was her late grandmother, the co-inventor, back in the seventies. The Dragonfly suit augments the wearer's natural neuro-electric fields greatly,letting the user produce effects like force fields and energy blasts. However the armor doesn't work for all humans, which was why it was never snapped up by some agency or other. Unfortunately, for Dara, she also has to deal with health effects related to her superhero career. Severely injured in a superfight several years ago, she spent months in rehab and has some memory loss. Plus the suit's fields have hyper-energized her nervous system and biochemistry, resulting in occasional medical issues. Why doesn't she retire? Because her medical problems aren't likely to go away so she might as well keep helping others. Created & rendered in Carrara 8.5 Pro. Image uses GIS Biosuit & Vicky 5 (both Daz).
