As a boy I wandered field and mountain, desert and ocean, forest and the icy reaches at the top and bottom of our world, and each place I found was another mystery waiting for me to discover. One day I found a silver doorway set into the side of a tall mountain. There were such detailed carvings of moons and planets and stars and all those things beyond our own small planet that I pulled the door open without hesitation, and within was the infinite apeirogon. I traveled the apeirogon on the back of a moonbeam I had rescued from the Land of Shadows. In time, I came to the Crystal Universe, and there I live to this day, writing of all I have seen.

I find it hard sometimes just writing my little stories so I don't know how you manage with your book. Fabulous image as always. xx

Superb effect and atmosphere, a wonderful mesh of a youthful character on a weathered canvas. Like it very much!

Do what you need to do with the book. That is your most important job now. I love the image here.

I'm not sure what to think of this, the look is really different. Still, it looks good, and vaguely creepy.

Surreal image. Perhaps no humanoid but those carnivores seem to be attracted to sounds of stress.

a portrait rich in shadow and mystery, perhaps what one would feel in a jungle at night. Lots of psychological hints and glimpses, and that strong dark all around the face and body suggest deep, deep night. I want you to know I've read portions of the piece you gave to us, and I'll give impressions after I read more and get a bigger overview. I didn't realize it was about so many things that I haven't seen in the chapters I've read here. I recognize Jon Black, of course, but the Children of the Empire has so much I'm not familiar with. It's the only reason I haven't gone back to some earlier chapters on Nezo, here. (I'm kind of pulled in 2 directions.) I've been very impressed with your vision and all you've put into it. And trying to ground myself in your writing (when I've had time) is the only reason I haven't commented more on your visuals here, even though I've seen them all and loved them. I'll comment on some of them tonight, though...
