the guy above the fountain reminds me a little of Sterling Hayden: He has the look, to me, that Hayden got as the crazy military guy in Dr. Strangelove...In any case, lots of grime and soot in this shot, lots of shadow and deep hues. And contrasts between the waters and the mid section, and your very bleached upper level. You are obviously sensitive to layers in your facade shots; and you handle your shots so that the layers are visible. This is a strikingly 3-layered shot, and the detail in the bottom two is stunning.
