Description
I almost never dedicate photos to specific people, but I'm going to make an exception for my friend Tara, who's having some medical issues. Though I feel like I know some of you through your words & photos, she & Bill are the only two people on Renderosity who I've actually met in person. Tara, I wish you a very speedy & full recovery!
This is a statue in Vienna that apparently is a deity representing the river Drave, a tributary of the Danube. I added about ten layers of textures to the monochrome statue. Original to follow...

This absolutely jumped off the page at me! I love it when you do manipulations and layering. You've got such a good eye for this sort of thing, and the result is beautiful. Thank you, my friend. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your loving support.

I love the spread of colour in this image; what beautiful work! I am sending positive energies for Tara!

You have such a talent for the photo manipulations. Like Tara, I also love this effect. I also send warm thoughts and positive energies to her.

I'm with tara on your manipulations; you could do a lot more, for my tastes. This is beautiful, esp as your colors act like a mist through which we view the original. A dream-mist of rainbow hues. And you used lots of reds and yellows in the upper half, to make it sunny and outgoing. Beautiful work, and subtly blended; and a very loving piece for Tara (who is now much better).
