wow, this is a gas (no pun intended), both for the humor and the wonderful imagination. It's good to know that car-repair stations will still be grimy in the future (or on other planets). I love the stained cloths on either side, and the deep grimy grays, and your picture within a picture composition (your 'inset' is just fascinating!) And the car's yellows are great contrasts to this largely grayish image. You even have yellows and oranges in the tubing on the floor, in the mirror in back, and in the rim around the mirror. (I'd call it a lintel, but that's not really accurate.) Since you post so many antique cars, why not post a more modern car as seen by a foreign civilization? So this is how they examine evidence! And maybe those stains are real human blood. Terrific piece, Richard.
