Description

cock of the walk: One who asserts himself in a strutting pompous way This is Pepito and he definitely qualifies as cock of the walk He is THE rooster at the King Ranch with a harem of twelve hens. He is also trained to do tricks. Below you can see his handler Vincent putting him through his paces. The blurry fellow in the background is our tour guide Randy.

the rooster shot is filled with strong detail, and the grasses and light stands out sweetly. It's formidable, with very nice light and composition. And the bottom shot is a terrific portrait of a handler/trainer, with his eyes slightly to left, where his birds are. I love his slight tilt, to make room for his birds; and the way the light plays off of him and off of them...and how his arm spans the whole image to draw it together. Really fine random shot, and another vivid capture of the world you visited. (I wonder if your guide, Randy, would get a smile out of being referred to as "that blurry fellow in the background" lol.) Randy makes a fine punctuation mark to the image, going from left to right. I know you think I make too much of your work, but this is yet another wonderful shot of humanity from you, and I've yet to do anything like it. Another wonderful piece from you.
