re your comment to Richard, it's nice when they take these huge mansions and turn them into public spaces, so everyone can enjoy them. On the other hand, I can't imagine living in a place like that (gives a whole new meaning to the phrase, "did anyone see the scissors???) You've given us a flat view from a distance, which equalizes everything, and gives us a good overview of a portion of these massive grounds. And the angle gives us several different portions too. A pleasing set of angles, and lots of light and shadow. And the sky seems to billow-white around the palace, which is beautiful. A thoughtful capture of a sight I'd imagine difficult to deal with, as a photographer. And it's actually tranquil too...
