My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Β
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made!Β :)
Β
In March, 2013, we sold ourΒ home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time.Β What a blast!Β There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

If Iβm missing from Renderosity from time to time, Iβm busy having fun elsewhere.

Good news, thanks for the update. A very pretty rainbow in this image. I have liked the shape of the gingko leaf ever since my visit to Japan. I have a small gold plated pendent in the shape of a gingko leaf. How many people do you know who can say that?

Now that is great news, Tara :-) Sounds as if you have had some great days with friends and... of course Bill ;-) I Sooo long for warmer weather, so I can be more active too. It is so windy her and it has been so for weeks now. Thanks for the update :-) I really like these fabric rolls. They are very beautiful. :)

Beautiful arrangement.Lovely color.

Don't you just love displays like this? I'm always drawn to them, but I could never choose a colour because it's the display of ALL of them that I love, individually they lose much of their appeal. Good that your body is settling a bit, we tend to forget that really we're a finely balanced machine, and when one bit goes wobbly it throws everything off. Just keep doing what you're doing, and enjoy your life!

What wonderful news!! Glad to hear things are improving. And I just love this rainbow photo. You are so very creative with your photos.

Brilliant news! I'm all for bobbing around on a noodle, but at present the air temperature in our pool hall is a bit brisk, and until they sort it we need to keep moving. It's meant to be one degree C above the water temperature, but is actually several below..brrrr. What a GORGEOUS display, I should be so tempted.

Beautiful array of pattern & color. I'm very glad to hear you're doing well, Tara - keep taking it slow & don't push yourself too hard too fast...

Ginko - WOW - it looks so luscious, one could almost take a bite out of it - it looks sweet enough to eat ;P
When I visited one of my old school-friend Renate, on my last trip to Germany (2014)... she had a Ginko tree in her garden and naturally enough, I took a photo of it - [unfortunately, she had passed away since] - but it is a bitter-sweet reminder of the little, but valuable time I had spend with her...
Let's hope that was an indoor pool - unless your friends live at Southern end of the US ? but it's all good I am doing likewise - but in an outdoor pool ...
Cheers BB - get well wishes and

Wat a joyful surprise to read you're so good with your blood pressure, and also that you can relax while floating in the water, and on the go with friends; it is a richness to enjoy this. I'm so glad you have good friends in your area. And your dear husband, Bill, as a caring man for you. They are blessings, right? Your pictures of the ginko are excellent, and I would choose, I doubt, ......but for those who have the soft tones in the transitions of color hue. Such as the purple and blue-green. Thank you also to tell me from your lovely quilt meeting as for your report on talk about your understanding of fractals, I am impressed by you, dear Tara. Anyhow, for all the love and care, your kindness and your pleasant mood; So sorry, I'll never be able to visit, but in mind, I'll do it.

That is good news Tara. Being in the pool is a good thing. Movement in the pool is much easier on your body than say walking, running, or biking. I have seen Ginko trees in a park near Kassel, Germany, but they are not that common, and I have never seen them here. The patterns look interesting and the colors are nice!

I was very happy to hear your health news, though I hope you get your energy back soon. It was a long couple of weeks, and I'm happy you're home and able to relax and enjoy yourself, which always helps when regulating your body. It was nice of you to post this, to let us all know. The picture is one of two shots you've done lately, of different hues in a store; and they've been delightful. In zoom, the patterns in these ginkos are very satisfying to look at, as is the grain in the fabric, as is the lineup of colors. The angle gives it life too. A sweet shot, and I wish you all the best while you get back to normal. I'm glad you're where it's temperate, and with people you love to be with (besides, of course, Bill). A beautiful shot to accompany your very positive update.

Soooo glad to read the good news, Tara! That BP acting up can really turn you upside down. Jo's been on BP meds for years, and is doing great. It's just a matter of finding the right meds for each person. Looks like they may have got things all worked out for you.
And I love these colors and patterns. I would have been tempted to buy a yard of each color just to throw on my scanner for some clothing textures. Or backgrounds.

Just beautiful...
