Hellooo to you all and i hope you are OK:) --- I want to offer this sketch to Helle, with a BIG THANK YOU! because Helle 'shout loud' with me in every e-mail:) ! and she write me in BIG reds:)) always incentivizing me by all means, to show up, because i have been drawing some and she knows, but as is not still possible for me to be in your galleries as i wished (only now and then i am, though i see almost everyday what you all do) i always tell her that i feel that is not fair..! And she 'shout' dearly to me:))))))) So, i promised her that i would...and here i am dearest Helle, with this one, for YOU:) and i had the moleskine in my bag this time, lol, and not only the 'napkins' of the table, as usual:)))) --- I Wish to everyone a wonderful weekend with Health and Peace and thank you for being here with me:)

Of COURSE Helle is right, and you should share your art with us even if you don't have the time to comment! :) I tell HER the same thing when she says she can't be here because of the same reason. SO! Now you know her dark secret. LOL! :) This is a delightful drawing. You have captured such personality, I feel like I know these people!

OHHH! Dear Ana! Is this for me? WOW! You know how much I love your art, as I love this. Wonderful way you made the contrast in the upper background, as if they are sitting a cozy evening by the café and enjoy life. It is just awesome and I say like Andrea MORE PLEASE :-) Thank you ever so much for this beautiful dedi, my friend :-D I know you have lately been drawing alot of magnificent portraits. I HOPE you will share them with RR too. I cant wait to see them in public. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!! :DDDDDD

I'm sorry I'm so late on this...but my feelings about it (and about your posting) remain the same. The sketches you do of human gatherings have a jazzy freedom-of-line, and a lot of human energy and insight---they're always delightful and insightful. These three people seem 'huddled' in a personal conversation: It seems private and "huddled," from the way you drew the women's heads (covered by their coats) to the way the man is "leaning in" on the conversation. But it isn't a heavy moment: They're enjoying themselves, laughing, sharing with delight. Your lines in these drawings always have such freedom and joy. You capture bodies with minimal strokes, and you get the 'whole person' in the process. (The sign of a masterful artist.) (And btw, when people tell me that my minimal drawings are 'good', I have to say that I draw mostly frontal angles, with little else: But masterful artists like you capture every angle, every attitude, every quirk of personality: That's why I feel like a total amateur when I view your work.) You drew energy in their feet too---the man is almost dancing, down there; and that woman's foot is on its toes, lol. A light joyful time, between friends. And the black background makes a fine contrast to the intense, private moment between these people, A delightful drawing, Ana, concentrated in a corner of real human sharing; and showing, once again, your mastery of not only line and form, but of the countless moments that make up human life. And---a wonderful dedi for Helle, who so wants you to post more! (I do too, but I'd be hypocritical if I asked you to, since I go weeks without posting! But anytime you post is greatly welcome, Ana! All your fans feel that!) It's always great to see you back here, whenever you can come. You bring sunlight to us all of us. Beautiful work, as always.
