Description
This room at Melk Abbey had several precious antique objects on display, but I actually found the unusual arrangement of glass, lights & mirrors more interesting. It made the room feel like a cross between a museum & a carnival funhouse. Not something I'd want other museums to emulate, but it made this one room memorable......

I can sure see why you found this place so fascinating. What a unique arrangement. It is indeed a mixture with antique artifacts and the ultra modern-looking glass and lighting and then with the mirrors multiplying the effects. What an awesome shot!

I'd be spending way too much time in there snapping objects at various and sundry angles and POVs

I would imagine that if people weren't closely supervised in there it could result in a lot of bumping into things and subsequent loud crashing sounds...what a great view you captured! Reality is malleable, that's for certain!
