Description
This scene was inspired by Dan Simmons's "Hyperion".
Lens effect is renderedon Bryce3D with all other objects. All object (eccept lens effect) is Procedual textured.

The Hyperion series was great as well.

Finally, someone else who has read that series. It's my absolute favorite series and inspired me to get back into reading scifi again. I have never looked back since. Nice interpretation of the Templar tree ship. I also like the bright star that lights the scene (very dramatic). One day I hope to visualize and render a scene from the series myself.
