Description
Daughter of Pope Alexander VI (Borgia) and Vannozza Catanei courtesan: It was more a victim than victimizer as was usually imagined. Was the instrument in the hands of the Pope for strategic alliances made through appropriate marriages: He lived in a dissolute ga environment because of the mother, involved in countless acts of war because of his brother and husbands. In fact at the end he was loyal and faithful wife, unwilling to court intrigues and able ruler in Ferrara. Lover of the arts, and a woman of great faith. He made a lot of charity towards the church and the poor at his death was received for this in a convent where he is still his grave. He was 39 years old.
I dedicate this to reassess the reputation. It appears serene even though surrounded by elements that have ruined the reputation. (The church, war and lust)

Yes, history has a way of being judgmental in wanting to paint things out in whatever way seems right to the current times. Never wholly taking into account all the factors that go into making someone the way they end up being read about in the history books. Very few people are totally evil. Its almost always a mix of good and bad, and often driven by outside factions as much as inner demons. Nice done work!

Like the strange emerald texturing on the figures. They all seem to be made of green glass.
The lust for secular power is the single blackest curse of humanity. There's simply no telling how much evil has been done because of it. It becomes even more terrible when you have the good fortune of being born in the right place for others to manipulate you in their vile quest for power even though you're just not interested in such things. I'd really like to believe the daughter of Pope Alexander VI and Vannozza Catanei was just an innocent young woman, but as Kalypso said: unfortunately her true story may never be known.
