Description

Just a quick post to let you all know I'm still alive! LOL What the he## has happened to free time lately?? Sheesh! Still trying not to fall behind on comments, but am presently about 3 days behind. I'll get around to your galleries soon, hopefully.. This was an interesting formation in the S. Dakota Badlands from last fall. I thought the textures and erosion patterns were pretty neat. Well....... Have you heard the news?? Looks like us Poser users are losing yet another resource for content.... RDNA has just merged with DAZ. Yes, it's true. I just checked it out myself. Not a lot of folks are happy about it, but we'll just have to see where it goes... Now, before anyone gets all upset, I have nothing against DAZ - in fact I'll be giving the new DAZ a go if I ever get the time to rebuild this computer. I just hope SM continues to improve Poser, and the major marketplaces don't forget us Poserites! :-D Now, back to getting caught up on comments and the TNA story! Have a good one, everyone!

From the entries in your and other galleries, it looks like Poser has given a lot of you some major headaches. I hope it gets better. As for this shot, sheee-it, Rod, whenever you post a photo, you remind me of just how damned good a photographer you are. This is terrific. Not just for the clarity of textures, but the layers of textures, subtle as some of them are. And the movement---from top to the bottom, like the stone is pouring down like lava. It's like a vast chunk of elephant skin, with lots of 'flab' on the bottom. The nearly monotonal feel---though it's anything but monotonal---makes it all the more mesmerizing, because it brings out pattern. This is terrific. I hope everyone zooms your work: When your photography goes full size, it fills the whole wall. A tremendous shot. Whoosh.
