Description
OK - Here's page 25 in the continuing adventure - and as you can see, things are beginning to become very interesting, indeed... Stay tuned... Next, we'll re-join G4 and Ar as things wrap up in DC..
Sorry I've not been around much lately - I know I'm falling behind on visiting and commenting on all your awesome art - I hope to get caught up over the weekend.
The truth is (in addition to working my a## off at work) I've been trying to cram my head full of lots of new stuff... I've been hitting the tutorials pretty hard - mainly Photoshop. Photoshop Cafe' and Phlearn have become my good friends lately. LOL I've been finding stuff I had no idea Photoshop was capable of, especially as far as it's 3D capabilities go. I'm looking to create some goodies for the story, and some other props, as well. I'll probably put some of the in the freebies area both here and at Fantasy Attic as well.
I've also recently picked up a copy of Manga Studio 5 EX, and I have to say, I'm blown away by it! It works a lot like Photoshop, so it's pretty easy to get used to. But it's optimized for creating comics/manga, and has some pretty neat features along that line.
I'll be rebuilding this computer soon (I keep threatening that.... LOL But I'm going to have to quit stalling and do it... Soon), and will be putting the new DAZ on it - if for no other reason than to give Girl 7 a go. She's really cute! Of course G4 is still my main lady (LOL), and she'll continue playing herself in the story.
I've listed a bunch of credits below, but I'm sure I left a lot out. I'll be adding to the list as I figure out what I've used and where it came from. I really need to start keeping a list! LOL
Now, off to start getting caught up!
Thanks so much for stopping by, and for all your wonderful comments and support! I appreciate every one of them more than I can put into words!

giulband
Absolutely wonderful work !!!
eekdog
That's a lot of crediting indeed. As with Richard on respect for the time you put into this inspiring work. Alot for me, Rod. I don't have the patience or skills for this. But love seeing the T.N.A. Series when the new page comes out. Your pov's, text, scenes are always just amazing in details. Hope someday you get the entire series in a book which I would purchase.
RodS

watch it ladies the "L'homme de Ladie"might shake his Wankie muahahahahah.excellent work and while reading it gave me some chuckles-!!!
HADCANCER
What happened to Ms. Hadlyflower? Kind of lost me. She is met by 2 ladies which then adds one lady, but except for the notepad entry which for blind me was really hard to make out. I hate going blind. Anyway you renders as always look tight and with errors.
BTW can I pick your brain or anyone elses. I now have Poser Pro 11, but everything rendered in Superfly looks weird. A tutorial I saw said this is to be expected and you have to add nodes attach them and then modify their values. Of course it does not say to what or how much. Seems like a lot of trouble for one render. Have you solved this?
RodS
Parallel story-line - all will become clear soon.... :-) Arquinia is a Fae, and has bloodline connections to one of the TNA Girls. OK - no spoilers... LOL Try the full-size version.. I've made these pages a little bigger now, with Rendo's new allowance of bigger file sizes.
I have PP-11, but haven't had much luck with it - it's very unstable on my system (that runs PP-2014 flawlessly). I know you have to do some different things with the nodes when using Superfly. I just haven't had the time to do much with it. You might take a look at Mark Bremmer's tutorial this month - I think it's all about shaders in PP11. I need to take a look at it myself.

Thanks for posting this wonderful webisode of your comics, Big Bro! The details are amazing! Now you made me think if I would buy Manga Studio. I had been seeing a lot of good reviews about it. Hope to see more work from you using it and maybe some review of the new program? HUGS!
RodS
MS is pretty awesome, Sis! If you've used Photoshop (and I know you do), Manga Studio will seem very familiar. And it has lots of cool features slanted towards manga/comics. I hope to post something I've done with it sometime soon.
calico_jester
Great story line !!! Now I am wondering what could add some animation for the characters and scenes.... amazing stuff.
makennedy
Amazing job on these, love the characters and storylines you come up with!!!

Well done!

Great work Rod. The story is really making some cool and mystic turns. I like a bit of mysticism in my sci-fi. Can't wait to see a better pic of Mel in her little dress too Excellent detail and lighting in the images too. The low sun and the over the city image came out great.
T.Rex
? ?? ??-? ????-?! Fae? Side stories? Now my little T.Rex brain as all confused and befuddled. Maybe I just shouldn't try to analyse or understand and just go with the flow. Mysterious story aside, absolutely great image work. Can I, need I, say more? Can't wait to the next installment to see if Snowzem becomes MY dinner or someone else's! Sheesh - am I getting ahead of the plot? Keep up the good work! :-)
A Rating of 7 in my humble opinion (but who cares about an old T.Rex's opinion until he's HUNGRY! Then see 'em RUN!)

Hi Rod, you realy AMAZED me with this Work!
npauling
Wow Rod, these scenes are amazing and I am looking forward to the next episode so much. You really know how to whet the appetite . Fantastic work with all the posing and lighting which must have taken hours. This is worth far more than 10 stars. Loved it. ☺ ☺ ☺
Desgar
Seriously superior production, Rod! Five-star rating isn't enough.
Daddywolf
Wonderful story line I Don't Know how you Keep it all together and adding new Characters and all! I hope that Manga Studio might add some New Level of organization as far as a story board goes!
RodS
Sometimes I wonder how I keep it all together, myself! LOL Yeah, I've got some ideas from watching tutorials for both Manga Studio and Photoshop..
Windigo
Great work! Now I'm interested in Manga Studio, too bad there isn't a trial version available!
RodS
If you go over to Smith Micro's site, they have a bunch of tutorials on it (along with Poser, Anime Studio, etc) that will give a pretty good look at what it's capable of. Also, you can Google it, and do a search on YouTube.
Madbat
Wow, that's a lot of work you managed to put into this one, nicely done Rod! As to Manga Studio 5ex, I have that, it's a very, very nice program. It's mainly geared around drawing and painting specifically. For that I like it a lot better than Photoshop. It does very nice line work. (I used to do pen and ink drawings). It should come in very handy for doing comic style pages. I do recommend going to Smith Micro's youtube page and diving into their video tutorials to get you started. I can dig up links if you need them. Just pm me.
helanker
WOW! You have really done a great job here. I am impressed. Would have taken me 3 months to do it not even a fraction as good as this. But I gave up ages ago on 3D art.
Leilana
Wow! Wonderful comic-scene! You did a great job!
misty7j3

Getting caught up ... again ... this is terrific! :) I'm off to see what else is new in your world.

I can't believe how much you pack into these installments, and with text to boot. And you also manage to get out a story line with development, and then an end that makes us look forward to the next installment. You begin with a big nature scene---most of the frames I've seen of this series have been interiors or exteriors, but not many full nature scenes. It's got a beautiful autumnal red glow, and I like the ship, it fits in perfectly; and the font for her 'voice over' is a fine choice of 'storyteller's' font. With the 2d frame, we return to the ship, and once again you start to pack the frames with so much tantalizing detail. (I like the TNA/TWA play too...) Your fun and explicit detail in background digital displays, digital machinery, furniture, objects of their day, etc etc, is terrific. You put so much into these frames. I like the contrast of the flowers with the ship too. And of course you differentiate each character with stance and light, etc, as well as purpose, etc.
I've been away from this too long to know everything that's going on, but I can see that something is building as M prepares for her journey. And again, I love your overlays---the closeup of the tablet screen, which is chock full of your usual goodies, and a text that says that the lady flies and is so pretty. (And the screen shows the motherboard---or is that just a desktop photo?) And I love your interior angles, and the layout of the 3 women (frame 4). And the last frame---I almost said 'shot'---is an upper view looking down: Very cinematic. With lights below, and terrific eerie lighting inside the cockpit. And you end with "need to know basis..."
I'd go crazy making these. I'd walk around talking to myself, mumbling to trees. It seems so intense! Like Steve says, I don't have what it takes to do things like this. (Listen, I'm working on digital audio right now, and I'm sunk in so much programming, I'm ready to scream. I never knew a melody could break down to so many digital parameters.) Bravo once more: Your work on these is awe inspiring, Rod.
RodS
Ah, but I DO walk around talking to myself and mumbling to trees......Haaaaaaaahahahaha.... ahem...
