Description
This is the most spoiled little fuzz ball I have ever seen! He, under no circumstances, ever wants to be alone. He also sees no reason why he should not be eating at every waking moment. I have never seen one of these chicks make as much noise as he does. If mom is away from the nest, he pretty much is peeping the entire time. He is growing faster that the 2 & 3 did in the past, no doubt because he gets ALL of the food. If you look at the top left area of the nest, you can see the feet of what I believe is a coot. That is a small water fowl we have here with partially webbed feet. This is the first time I have seen a bird of kind in the nest in the years I have watched the nest. As of now, few people know that there is a chick in the nest. I hope it stays that way.

Wonderful capture and interesting, if not amusing observations. I look forward to more of this Little Prince and his exploits.

I think Queen Zlata the Gentle will bless this one from a distance

Man, is it cute! But, as you say, alone means spoiled rotten! It must be driving its parents nuts! It will be very interesting to follow its growing up, and see what personality it develops. It, since we don't know the gender yet, or...? Thanks for mentioning the coot. I was wondering what creature that was. As for knowing it's in the nest - posting here means we all know. I sincerely HOPE that none of the "buggers" frequent this site! Keep up the good work! :-)
PS - I love your comment on Faemike55s post of the preying mantises.
