Description

Card VII of the major arcana. A fun challnge this one, to squeeze in all the symbological elements...not to mention mashing V4 into a sphinx!

thanks for your comment on "emporor". It is an interesting way of how you conceive the arcana. I am just working on tha charriot. I follow certain archetypes. So I constructed a charriot myself. Your idea to make Sphinges from the lion archetype is really convincing. I shall make two lions a black and a blond one (sun and dark sun). The charriot driver will show in the rainbow, symbol for might. Nice gallery btw.

Thanks Hilmarion. I used sphinxes as they are present in the tradidtional English tarot, which is a little different from the continental European one. The biggest challenge I found was getting the alchemical symbols and the lingam in the composition without it being too contrived; hence the fabric patterns and the embossed armour. I look forward to seeing your version!
