Description
Today is the first day of Spring. One day later you were born. Co-incidence? I don't think so. When this daisy heard it was your birthday she couldn't help but celebrate. Here's to another year around the sun, Mark, full of creativity and joy. Now go and have some cake and a beverage of your choice and then get some rest.

First of all, when one zooms this---all the way---it explodes! It's a big starburst. I saw it when it went up, but couldn't do more than glance, but today, I zoomed, and man my retina is doing a dance. I love the explosion of this, and the energy-lines and colors, all coming out of a big dark-blue center, and moving into space. (Filled with neon blasts and flames and nebula and quasars. I've run out of terms.) I laughed at Andrea's comment. If you send me a packet, put them in lead, or whatever they use to contain radioactive material...
Thank you so much, Mark, it's wonderful! And thank you for your wish. I had some beverage this weekend, but some wasn't so hot. I had something our ancestors drank---slivovitz! The stuff could clean a carburetor...and some great wine, and some not so great other stuff. Bitters, I think. (Major bitters.) But I appreciate this greatly, and I miss sitting with your art and all your comments too, for me and for others. I've seen everything you've uploaded; but without spending time here, I've not had the pleasure of reading your comments all over the site, or sitting with your work at length. I hope to start again soon. But thank you for this. And btw: In reading about Obama in Cuba, I keep thinking of your series, as I want to call him and say, "look at Mark's series: It'll tell you a lot more than what the State Dept tells you!" Thank you again, Mark. I greatly appreciate it.

I like to repeat here, what I had already mentioned at Jacomina's post, because the words are just so perfect and also applicable for the birthday gift for Mark T.(sorry Mark S., being repetitive) LOL "No matter how long the cold, bleak days of winter may continue, 'WINTER ALWAYS TURNS TO SPRING'. This is the law of the universe and the law of life. As long as we hold on to hope, spring is sure to come.
