Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Oh I would not want to drive here either, but I would love to ride up and see the view. I am glad you reminded me of Sharky. He used to be in my favorite artists list, but I haven't seen anything posted by him since RR made the changes. I need to check and see if I still have him in my list.
I live your through the window POV. I have many shots like that taken on a beautiful drive, but mine do not usually turn out so good.

Three words - motorcycle road trip. This looks like a fun and challenging ride. I must visit someday.

How beautiful this is! I've never been to Hawaii at all, you lucky girl! And I heard they had an earthquake there in the last day or so, "only" a 4.6...big enough to feel, and that's more than enough in my book!
