Description

"Under Ground Spring Roman Nose State Park" This is one of several underground springs we visited at Roman Nose State Park in Oklahoma. Inside the cave is a six foot tall, three feet wide waterfall. The park is heavily wooded, hilly, rugged, profuse with Gipson and limestone outcroppings, and laced with spring fed streams. There are horse back rides, camping, swimming, trails, fishing, Ranger-led programs, cabins, and a nice lodge. We hope to go back in the summer when everything is green.

A very beautiful capture. Looks like nothing really likes to grow there.

This area is still barren from winter. It will be green in spring.
