Great interpretation of two people dancing under water, probably in a swimming pool. Either that or you tried smudging out the photo because you didn't care for it. In any case, cool work here, Jock.

One of the interesting things about the photo (above) is to see what you added to it, in your painting. You added rushing strokes, and some hues, and you coaxed-out the energies in this photo, to make a spectacular painting. I love the photo---I can see it came with motion lines because of the slow speed. (You must've moved it somehow, or maybe it was on a surface that vibrated or moved. I've got about 2 million shots like this, btw, but none of them are as colorful or fun.) But the photo is a lot of fun, and I love how it created a whole bunch of new worlds for you. Helle said she'd never try to paint this: I'd LOVE to, lol, but the result would be gagging and awful. You did a terrific job. Thanks for posting the photo, it's great to see what you work from, when you paint.
