Description

Without giving away any spoilers, I thought I'd post a look at one of the several widely dispersed T.N.A. Headquarters buildings. This one is sequestered somewhere deep within the Rocky Mountains. You'll see a bit more of it soon. Working on Page 26 - we're nearing the end of Chapter 5. There will be a short break, then we'll dive into Chapter 6... This was done in Vue 10, with a few additions and enhancements in Photoshop CC. I started the render (@ 3360 X 2100 pixels) Friday night around 9:30 PM. It finally finished Sunday evening around 7:15 PM. So..... Around 45.75 hours. I will soon be moving Vue onto my other machine which will hopefully speed things up. I hope to upgrade to the newest version of Vue at some point. Which brings me to....... I have to apologize for being so far behind on comments so much of the time lately. To be honest, I've been working my A&& off at work, and am usually pretty exhausted by the time I get home. Hopefully there's some relief in sight. Plus last week I felt like crud most of the week. I'm doing quite a bit better now... Plus I've been trying to work several other projects into whatever nooks and crannies of time I can find among the dust bunnies under my desk! LOL Most are T.N.A. related, and I think you'll enjoy them if I ever get them done! I'm also working on a major update of my personal website, and also opening a site on Patreon. More on that later. For now, this is long enough, so I'll sign off and get my silly butt to bed! Thanks for dropping by, and for any comments you wish to leave. I really appreciate them all, and all of you! Hope you all have a great rest of the week and weekend!

Time is short for many of us, Rod. Just appreciate your time when you do have it. I thought at first this was a photo it's so realistic looking. Amazing work and can't wait to see what you have in store.

I can see why Arquinia loves this area. and I can bet that it is more extensive than it looks. I cannot wait to see the interior shots and scenes.
get well soon.
excellent work

We could probably have a long discussion about your work situation, as I once assembled printers for a major corporation, but I also know you had rather spend any free time to focus on the girls :) This seems to be a well chosen and secluded spot for compiling your tales.

Excellent realism, I mistook it for a photo initially. I've has Vue and Poser renders which have taken more than three days. Such is the price of perfectionism.

Wow I thought this was a photo your render is so good. Well worth that long render time to get that fabulous detail. You sound to be so busy these days but we all love to see what great images you come up with. I have been working on making the days longer but that seems to be beyond me.lol. ☺

I was going to guess view, but after I got that wonderful scene from Stonemason with plants and water. I not sure what can come out of a render engine these days. Leave the art work for a few years and come back even stupider. Ya did real good . that's why I guessed vue as some of their scenes can come out like a photograph, and I will never know what the new Photoshop can do. After I left I hear they had a 9.99 per month service which I would have gone for, but 49.99 per month is too high for an SS person. Site on Patreon, I have no idea what that is. Sound like a very good tequila....Olay

Well, Rod. Seems you've out-done yourself again! It will be difficult to beat this one! I at first thought it to be a photo of an entrance to your house! Then you gave it all away! But, considering it's Vue, well, any software would have a hard time beating Vue. I have Vue 6, but time, a lazy brain and tiredness after getting home from work (does that sound familiar somehow?!) has prevented me from learning much. Sigh. Maybe later. Keep up the good work! Am looking forward to more TNA! Or was it TNT? BOOM!? Definitely a rating of 7 here!

And thanks for comments on my "silliness" with Summer! She's trying to find another victim for another instructive image! Just keep LOW! :)

45 hours. Ye gods. It was well worth it. No way I could let my laptop burn through that. It might not be any good afterwards.

You have quite the art chops, and I hope I can get something similar, but please don't burn yourself out in the process.

Yep, looks like a photo alright, but 45+ hours... one more reason why I love lo-poly toons. Lol.

Nice work Rod. Looks like Vue agrees with you nicely. For a render that size and the higher res trees, the render is not too much of a surprise. More RAM and processing will certainly speed things up. And I have plenty of tips to offer to help your renders and slow them down 😆 Great work and look forward to more Vue.
