What a tortured tangle of limbs! Still, nature has grace even in a riot like this, it's quite compelling. Beautiful capture!

I'm picking up where I left off (in an effort to get as many of the shots I've not commented on as I can get). I'll try to do one more 'catch-up' session before I address the present. Actually, you posted---I think last night---a set of branches which knocked my socks off. A big muscular wrestling match, as you suggested. You did one I think the day before, which was also muscular and beautiful. You've been posting knockout tree shots. Well these knocked me over too: You got a very clear set of layers here, rather than just a big tangle. And the clarity, as well as the different thicknesses, and lighter and darker shades, make this far more than a tangle: It's a real gathering of distinct entities. And there are flowers here too---they're scattered, but they're there. Like accents. I know nothing about trees in your area, but even with your heat, you have bare branches in the end of March---which I only associate with the north (erroneously). A beautiful capture, with more clarity than one normally gets from this type of subject; with an amazing amount of variety. And it's sinful that it got 4 comments: I realize that Helle and I were missing, but it should have gotten 2 pages. When I see what gets 2 pages and up, I can't fathom where the 'eyes' are of artists here. This is a wonderful, scintillating shot. And of a very difficult subject: This subject almost always results in a big mess---this shot is anything but.
