What a richly textured spread of bark, well-suited to a rousing round of filterplay. Your choices are excellent for this subject matter! Well done photo and postwork, Harry!

(there's artiskimberly with her comma...) The original is another fine study of bark from you (another of your many fine series). Then you go to town: The second brings out the electrical flow of the lines. It actually looks a like an intense fabric version (with felted fabrics). The third looks like a pared down black and white treatment, only it's very different, more a pen study. The next one is a collection of electrical currents and energy lines, or like it overgrew with tons of hairs. And the last one seems almost real, like birch bark that decayed considerably, then fissured and molded. A real array---showing just how rich a single shot of bark can be. And again, the original is a fine shot in its own right. A big rich journey...
